Local Transport

Tourist buses from Kathmandu to Sauraha: 5–6 hours. From Pokhara: 4–5 hours. Private vehicle transfers also available. Internal transport within the park by jeep or elephant.

Important Notes

Wear neutral-colored clothing (khaki, green, brown) for safaris.
Do not approach wildlife — always follow guide instructions.
Malaria prophylaxis is recommended.
Best wildlife viewing: October–March (dry season).
