The Annapurna Base Camp Trek leads you into the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary, a natural amphitheater surrounded by some of the world's highest peaks. The trail passes through terraced farmland, subtropical forests, and traditional Gurung and Magar villages.
At 4,130m, the base camp offers a 360-degree panorama of Annapurna I, Machapuchare (Fishtail), Hiunchuli, and Gangapurna — an unforgettable mountain experience.

Local Transport
Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul takes ~1.5 hours by private vehicle. Tourist buses also available from Pokhara bus park.
Important Notes
- Best seasons: March–May and October–November.
- The trail can be slippery during monsoon (June–September).
- Poon Hill sunrise is a highlight — dress warmly.
- Hot springs at Jhinu Danda are a great reward after the trek.
